This past weekend, I did a few Salajah runs to max my Rit. I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Kill the boss last," when getting to Alem's group. I'd tell them we reach the 25 kills before we get there, but then they'd say something "smart" like, "Read the bounty".

I'd just reply, "Math is a wonderful thing!"

Oh yeah, one more thing: I had the quests to DO those runs, joined a group that needed them. When we got back ito town, I pinged the merchant to let them know I needed to use his services, but some goofball runs out anyway. So, I walked back in and pinged the merchant again, so they dumped me. I just typed in all chat,"Hope you didn't need the quests," and joined another group, leaving them there "lf 1 more with quests!"

PuG team leader.

SLAVERS HM IS IMPOSSIBLE TO !@#$ING BEAT!

No way, lets look set up.
UA monk
HB monk
2 fire nukers
1 BHA ranger with Frozen Soil
a SoS rit
1 minion master
1 defy pain tank

We charge into the first mob and get creamed, it could be that you (tank) told us to run builds that tickle our foes.
This is Gil Worz, and Gil Worz is the game that allows AoE scatter plus tanking, yet groups will always fail with the strategy. Lern 2 play gil worz kthxbi.

You must be confused with Guild Wars, the lesser/dumber style of playing tank-n-spank.

It's not uncommon -.- but can be rather amusing still

Mine...

I was having a discussion about the catholic church and the pope came up. And the person I was having the disscussion with says "Isn't the pope jewish"
I just stopped talking to him at that point. This is why I never try to have intelligent conversations with people anymore.

A necromancer in my party just now thinking that Necromancers can spirit spam just as well as a Ritualist.

Apparently, explaining to him that Spawning Power makes for more durable spirits did nothing to convince him. Sure, Soul Reaping is good for his energy, but a spammer only needs Boon of Creation for that.

Why do people think this? Ritualists out perform ANY class with spirits, as I am sure you all know. We even had a Ritualist in the party, and we tried explaining to the necro that the Rit should get first dibs on it since... well yeah, so the Rit said he would just run Spiteful Spirit for laughs. I just don't get people I guess...

The screenshot says it all but basically while running Kathandrax Speed clears I noticed one of the Assassin/Paragons was just standing around holding an axe.
To which I asked and he said he did not have a spear. Completely astounded I had to take a screenshot of the idiocy. We don't have 10 spear mastery for nothin ><

If that wasn't astounding enough, one of the OTHER members of the team decided to back his case up saying that he was doing everything just fine.

You can spam just as good, unfortunately what you spam will be less effective ^_^

Ok, first off you were right in that you didn't need to be in front. Imbas are usually 2nd in front either with spirits or to take heat off of the pulling panic mesmer.

2nd, you are partially to blame for party's wipe. You should have had "We Shall Return" or another quick rez.
The only way you are clear of this one is if a large group spawned on top of the group and wiped them and you can't get near (happened to my guild the first time we did foundry, the Fury and company spawned right on us)

Anyways, at one point our party wipes but me and another guy. So I run back, incase I have any scrolls (to res the party) but I didn't have any. But oddly enough, the team blames me for the death. Why? Because at that very instant, I was in the back line.

tl;dr: I was blamed for the wipe of a party because after a near wipe, I ran instead of died despite continuing to spam until then. (I was the Imba)

Are you sure it wasn't an argument about whether being gay was a mesmer or not?

No I'm sure. It was really weird. At least one other guy thought so too. I believe he said, "Why the heck are we discussing religion on Guild Wars!"
